My name is Massimiliano Bassan, I'm a web developer, graphic and video editor from Italy.
I am a technology enthusiast who loves team work.
Hardworking, self-taught and curious, I like to see my projects come to life.
Since I was a child I've been fascinated by the world. I got my first personal computer when I was 5 years old.
I discovered HTML when I was 13 and I have been using Photoshop and Premiere since the age of 15.
I feel curious about everything, passionate about creating and discovering my skills.
I enjoy exploring new languages, meeting new people, conceiving websites, achieving new projects, and much more.
That's what motivates me in my daily work.
I've learnt different programming languages through my school career, my spare time and my personal research.
I've also discovered and mastered some powerful graphic software and popular content management systems (CMS).
This is what I can do:
HTML and CSS were my first loves in the web design world. It was fascinating to see a square being drawn on a screen by just typing magical words.
I subsequently found useful tools throughout the years to help me discover great solutions for my projects: for instance, CMS like WordPress, Joomla and Drupal.

I currently cooperate with a graphic designer creating and re-designing a website for a local company (DM Solutions).
I managed the search engine optimization and content aspect of this project, constantly and profitably collaborating with my colleague.
We delivered a product which successfully met the client’s expectations.
I worked as the Social Media Manager for a political campaign in my home town.
I managed the personal website of one of the candidates and his social media pages,
creating contents such as daily video logs about his political program.
I also contributed to the idealization, production and distribution of all the flyers and campaign posters.
It was a long and hard work, rewarded with the victory of our candidate.
It gave me the opportunity to meet, work and cooperate with people from different backgrounds, as well as to improve my skills even further.
I worked as a video maker collaborating with a movie theater and creating a video advertisement.
It was an enjoyable experience, since it involved a fair amount of creative effects and accurate editing.
It also included the editing of the sound for a Dolby Surround 7.1 system: I basically createdlittle movie trailer!

I re-designed a website for a local basketball team. I edited a standard template for WordPress making it suitable for a team's blog, managing users and contents as well. Unfortunately, due to funding issues, the website was taken down and it is no longer available. |

I first learned how to code in HTML and CSS on this platform because it gives you the possibility to fully customize your forum, from graphics to basic scripts. I used it as a laboratory to experiment new graphic designs and discover new functions of some web tools. It was a way to learn new things while having a lot of fun. |
